CREW (Christians, Ready, Equipped, and Willing)

We are, first and foremost, Christians – We all have sinned, and have disappointed God (Romans 3:23). Because of our sin, our relationship with God is cut off (Romans 6:23a). But God sent his son, Jesus to die on the cross for our sins (John 3:16). Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, our relationship with God is restored (Romans 6:23b). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe it in your heart, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the basis for all of our ministry with CREW.

We are Ready – We have prepared a testimony about our faith for others (1 Peter 3:15). We are also expecting Jesus to return (Matthew 24:44). We are awaiting Jesus’ coming by trying to share our faith with as many people as possible.

We are Equipped – We have everything we need (the Bible) to live our lives (2 Timothy 3:16). We use the Bible to equip ourselves for the work God would have us to do (2 Timothy 3:17). As Christians, we use the Bible to instruct and strengthen one another so that we will be equipped for God’s work.

We are Willing – We serve others willingly, because God knows the intention of our hearts (1 Chronicles 28:9). We don’t just serve God out of obedience, but out of willingness.
